    I am thankful beyond thankful for the entire staff. My kids and I drove from Colorado Springs to take our 12 1/2 year yellow lab to this ER because so many are so cold and they made this a peaceful experience. Thank you...from my family. Spidey Hero is over the rainbow bridge with a piece of our hearts with him and with the peace this facility gave him and our family.

    Our experience with the after hours clinic was great. It was also on a holiday. The cost was reasonable. We were concerned about having to put our fur baby down, staff was attentive and the doctor was great. We were given options, we choose the medication option and a year later, our now 15 yr dog is still kicking. Thank you!!!

    Dr. Kaitlyn McNamara and her surgical team saved our dog! Wilson suddenly fell ill, after being healthy for the two years we had him, since his adoption. It took a week and 8 vet visits to 4 different vets and emergency vets before we figured out what was causing his liver to fail. As soon as we found out what it was, we were able to get him into WRAH for immediate surgery. We were so scared for our boy. Everyone at WRAH was kind and helpful. The critical care team walked us through the whole surgery and all of the potential complications. During and after the surgery, Dr. McNamara called us to keep us updated on Wilson's condition. We are so thankful to be 2 weeks out from surgery with no complications. Although it was VERY expensive, I would have paid double to save Willy. Thank you to Dr. McNamara, the surgical team, the critical care team, and the whole WRAH!

    I cannot begin to say enough positive things about this place. My cat has been admitted there 3 times over the past few years and the level of care that he has gotten there is next level. The first time was during Covid, so hadn't gone inside the facility until recently, but it's like a small human hospital, it's amazing. Communication is usually great and it's been easy to talk to doctors. My cat is 15, and everyone was so compassionate and understanding when it came to hard conversations that needed to be had. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were all on the same page with his care plan, including staying realistic but hopeful when things were touch and go. I felt as cared for as he was. The reason why I think WRAH may have mixed reviews is that it is very similar to a person hospital. When I first got my cat, I never thought he would have a cardiologist. As much as I am so grateful that he does, in a world where a lot of humans can't afford, or can't get, adequate care for themselves, it can be a really complicated situation. As far as cost, this is the least expensive animal hospital I have taken my pets to in the Denver/Boulder area. I have been to emergency vets for a couple hours that cost 2/3 of the price of what an overnight stay has been here. Without them I wouldn't be home right now with my cat. I am so thankful for the hard work, dedication, and love that has made it possible to spend more time with my baby, even if it's just a little longer. Thank you WRAH
